Five listing mistakes that hide your holiday rental from AI search

Your Airbnb profile is only half the story. What assistants read about your property comes from everywhere your listing details appear.

The first mistake is mismatched details: a maximum of four guests on Airbnb but six on your website. Assistants treat contradictions as unreliability, and unreliability reduces recommendations.

The second is no description on your own website — some owners rely entirely on the platform. The third is ignoring the questions guests actually ask; a page that answers "is there wifi, is the pool heated, how far is the beach" in plain text is far more quotable than a photo gallery. The fourth is a stale Google Business Profile for the address. The fifth is having no direct enquiry option, so every booking commission flows away from you.

Each of these is fixable in a week. Together they are usually the difference between a property that is named and one that is not.
